Fence Quarter’s MEASURE NOT^TM System helps you get the most accurate measurements between your deck railing stair main rails without a tape measure.  The ends of this STAIR MEASURE NOT are angled to a precise 32.5 degree angle, which is one of the most standard angles on a deck stair system. The 32.5 Degree is based off the 11″ tread and 7″ riser stringers used in making stairs.

The Big Box stores carry typically a 7″ 11″ 32.5 degree stair stringer but are often poorly cut on a regular basis which means you may have problems with correct measurements and assembly.  It is easy to cut your own stair stringer with lots of resources online on how to.  FENCE QUARTER does make stair railing inserts to fit within our MEASURE NOT – Stair Tool for a perfect fit every time.
